Slice

Slice is a Hyaenodon horridus that lives in Rajah's territory in the western dry forested part of Tiger's Country. He had known Rajah, an Asiatic lion since they were cubs. Slice often sits around Rajah and his pride's large kills of bison, mammoth, mastodon, elephant, water buffalo and giraffe and waits until they had their fill so he can get into the bones of the animals the pride had killed.  He's very loyal to Rajah and defend him constantly from any attacks from other predators and male lions who were trying to get a hold of Rajah's pride, which sometimes he kills and eats them.  He does hunt on his own but mostly restricted to deer and antelope, possibly a wild horse once in awhile.

One day, his friend had noticed the herds and rains hadn't came into their territory for almost a year, so Rajah had sent him to the Eastern Jungle which he had seen dark rain clouds over the horizon.
